Research coverage and method

Retained three events from opened primary announcements. Ran 13 searches across AI research/labs, compute/chips/datacenters, venture funding, and acquisitions/developer infrastructure; used the remaining lookup budget to inspect original sources. Coverage is selective, particularly October 17–19 and compute builders; no eligible compute event was fully verified. Both supplied GPU paper leads, arXiv:2610.22230 and arXiv:2610.21500, show October 15 initial submissions and were excluded despite later discovery dates. SK hynix's October 16 coverage describes demonstrations at an October 12–15 summit, so it was not treated as a new announcement. Anthropic's original page dates its survey report October 16, rather than the October 17 discovery date. Funding discovery frequently returned October 15 announcements, which were excluded. Empirical Machines remained a secondary, unnamed-source report without verified primary relationships. Google and Stanford research pages were opened, but verification was incomplete within the lookup budget. No fetch failures were reported. Existing events, including Reflection's Beam release, were excluded. No financial amounts or effective dates were inferred.

Primary source passages verified against independently fetched pages. Automated interpretations remain labeled for review; name-only merges are withheld.

3 unresolved items withheld from this edition. Current article activity uses each corpus’s fixed news basis; historical people profiles keep their training watermark. Missing measurements stay missing.
